Lawfully, it is not allowed for illegal immigrants to stay here in the U.S. without legal documents. It is because they come in and don’t have to pay any taxes. In addition, ethically, the population of illegal immigrants growing or them not paying back to our society. It’s just not fair.
I would like to add that even though many believed that illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, it actually isn't true. Illegal immigrants pay taxes, in form of sales taxes (when they purchase something), and even income taxes. Actually, they paid taxes for America and would probably never got anything out of it because they are, after all, undocumented and hence American government had no rights to take care of them. I get why people would immigrate illegally to the U.S. but I don't think it's right for them to stay. It's not like they can't legally immigrate here. It's a tedious process but it's something they have to go through if they want to come here for a better life.
