You should advice your friend to be legalized. Help him/her as much help as possible, and make sure that he/she is aware of the consequences of being an undocumented immigrant.
I totally agree with Claudia. You have to help him/her to be legalized. Otherwise, if he/she got caught, he/she will get a penalty or even deported to his/her origin.

You should definitely help your friend to become legalized in America. It is a hard and a long process but if a person is willing to put an effort everything is possible.
Ask your friend if he/she is willing to follow the process of becoming legalized. It is an intricate and long proccess but it is worth the struggle. If he/she refuses, do not share his/her personal conflict with anyone else as it could get them in trouble with the law.
Help and guide your friend through the process of becoming a legal citizen. Also look for resources/groups that help undocumented immigrants because they'll have a better understanding than you do.
I think that you can serve a buffer for your friend. There is a lot of fear compacted into the prospect of revealing yourself as a undocumented immigrant when seeking help. Best way to help is to help your friend access the help and resources available to him/her.
Once he/she finds this help, they won't feel alone in this struggle he/she is facing.
I think you should help your friend through the process of becoming a legal citizen. I know its difficult at some point, but seeking for help from agencies or groups that help undocumented immigrants might help.
I agree with everyone. help him out! At this moment, one of my friends is going through the process being legalized here. He's had a lot of support on it.
You should advise your friend to become legalized. Although the process can be long, it will be very beneficial to your friend. Your friend would not have to face the consequences of being caught as an illegal immigrant where he/she will get deported back to his/her origin.
i think you should help that person out but not to the point where both of you would get in trouble i hope everything works out for that person because i would be sad if i had a friend that was sent away
