  2. I think shortening the process won't help much. Moreover, we will get larger number of immigration which makes the situation even worse.

  3. Yes, I think the immigration process does take too long time. In fact, the immigration process for some countries are being backlogged and it could take up to 20 years for a person to get a visa to enter the United States as a legal alien. It could have been one of the reasons that the United States had so many undocumented immigrants.

  4. It is a long process because there is a lot of legal documents and process that must be done like background check, health check, etc etc in order to overlook for the safety of America as a whole, but it also is a long process because there are so many people who are looking to immigrate that there is a long wait time until it is the persons turn in line.

  5. Yes I definitely have some criticism about the immigration process. I strongly believe that these process can be simplified.

Currently we do not have a passage to citizenship for many undocumented immigrants and this is a same, and this reflects in the number of illegal immigrants we currently have in the US.

  6. Definitely! The process seems to take way too long and I believe this is the main reason for why people come here illegally. I think the government purposely does this to crush people's hopes of being able to come here and then maybe through time, they think that these people would just give up. It took my uncle's family of 6 about 10-12 years till they were able to come here. I don't think the process takes that much time to complete, but the government just prolongs it.
