What are you opinions on the process of becoming a US citizen? Is a long process? Should it be simplified?

  1. I think it is a long process. However it shouldn't be simplified because we need to control the number of immigrants.

  2. Yes, It is a long process but for the legal immigrants we definitely need to simplify the process specially for those people with needed skills and who wants to come into america .

  3. Yes it is indeed a long process. However, I believe that if the process is to be made easier, that might attract a numerous amount of immigrant applicants to the U.S. and only qualified people are to be accepted to the U.S. Thus, I believe the current process is good enough.

  4. long is good but it would be nice if they still do the examinations before they enter the U.S because most of them lack proper communication. I had a couple of experiences and i suggest that to be able to understand one another each side should contribute to provide a better connection with each other.

  5. The process is setup the way it is because there is so much that needs to be done that is why it takes so long. To shorten or simplify the process is not the proper to do things.

  6. i don't think it takes too long if you prepare all document and follow the instruction correctly. it takes about five months for the process now in san jose. however, if there is something wrong on your document, it takes longer time. and you will not know how long it will be.

  7. I think process takes too long. I think they take too long because they do not want so many migrating and having a difficult time in America. Also, I think that it needs to be simplify because from what I heard from my cousins that they make it difficult and sometimes they try to intimidate them.

  8. The process takes way too long and they should definitely speed up the process and not prolong the whole process.
