Question about Immigration

How do immigrants get working permits in order for them to work in the United States?

  1. The US H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa, which allows a US company to employ a foreign individuals for up to six years.

  2. After you are employed by an company, I think the people there will help you to get a permit.

  3. If the company sponsored the person, then that person will get the working visa and allowed to work in the U.S. legally.

  4. Based on my speculation, I think it is quite easy to get a visa in order to be able to work in the US.

    1. its actually hella hard.........

      more forums to fill out, and they have to PAY for the visa as well, thats basically paying 2 checks 1 to the employee and 1 to the government..............

      where as US citizens 1 check....

  5. after completing school, you can apply for OPT which permits international students to work in the U.S. but it works only for one year.
