Well this is not a serious question, but even though I usually prefer Indonesian food back in Indonesia, somehow I prefer to eat Korean food here. I love love love the taste of Korean food in the United States. I have actually tasted Korean food in Korea, but they somehow taste different than the Korean food in the United States. I just want to know what kind of food you guys like, and you can also give recommendation of what restaurants to visit :D thank you

ReplyDeleteFor some reason i like how they cook Filipino foods here in America. The ones that really taste good are the ones cooked by Filipino relatives or family. I think the meat here taste better but that's about it. certain vegetables and products used in Asian recipes are hard to find in America. I like Korean food too!
ReplyDeleteI have not visited any Asian countries, yet. I would like to though. I love Asian food here! I can't compare to over seas (since I've never been there) but I do love all kinds of Asian food here in the U.S. I love Japanese food! can't get enough of sushi! I love Filipino food here as well (at least from what my family makes). I recently went to get Dim Sum with my friends. I was a bit nervous at first from the talk of chicken feet. But once I took a taste I was in love. I LOVE FOOD in general. I am a bottomless pit.

I love the Thai food and Korean food here.
ReplyDeletei think most of the restaurant that i have visited are delicious.
and perhaps because i have yet to visit Thailand and korea to taste their original food over there.
and for the Indonesian food, of course i prefer the food in Indonesia . cause somehow the taste are different:/
I hope to someday taste authentic asian food, but for the food served here in America I like it all.
ReplyDeleteI have not visited any Asian countries, but I would like the opportunity to travel to Asian countries one day, but for now I'll settle for Asian ethnic restaurants.
ReplyDeleteI am very open to food and have tasted a lot of food from many different countries.
ReplyDeleteI mostly enjoy eating Dim Sum and Sushi though.
In Japan, I never eaten sushi rolls..Sushi roll is not really Japanese food(I like it though). In the U.S, I never go to Japanese restaurants which are owned by non-Japanese owner.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, very few asian food venues serve anything remotely comparable to their homecooked counterpart. The only exception would we hole in the wall family owned restaurants but even those are a hit or a miss lol. Nothin' like home-cooked food from any culture honestly.
ReplyDeletei love the Japanese restaurants in japan alot better then most restaurants here Asian and non Asian ones and while i was there i didn't eat at any sushi restaurants but would like to try it once there because i want to try sushi where the chef chooses what you est
