Immigrants

How do Americans think about immigrants? Do they want no more immigrants or welcome new immigrants?

  1. I believe some americans want no immigrants, and some don't care or don't pay attention.

I mean its always the same main factor, the more of them show up, the more oppurtunity loses for us. But thats life, survival.

Now a days its a little more worst, now that the US is hiring outside of the states, not with just low paying jobs but with HIGH paying jobs now.........

  2. Most of America want to limit immigration. It may seem as a bad thing to welcome more immigrants to America, but it sometimes can be a good thing.

  3. Everyone has different views on immigrants. Some do not mind while others dislike them coming to America. Some are afraid that immigrants contribute a majority of the population while others view it as a benefit to America. It could be beneficial because Americans have the opportunity to learn more about the cultures of other countries.

I believe everything has two sides of a story like black and white.

  4. with whats happening to the economy right now and raise competition in schools and jobs I think Americans would like to limit illegal immigrants from entering so we can have an opportunity.

  5. It is deffinetly a balance. I agree with Rich's comment. Every one wants to come here because it is abundat with everything and quality of life is the best mankind has ever seen, but as more and more people flood here it has good effects for those who help build, but for those that are here to leach of the system and become another stupid American, we don't need that, we have enough of them.

  6. If we are to focus on a booming economic sector like the Silicon Valley (because I am not necessarily familiar with other regions), I personally believe that Americans would prefer a decrease in the amount of immigrants that are swarming this general vicinity. The influx of foreign intellectual resources have boosted competition to an all time high, and Americans seem to have "daddy issues" with the government constantly bickering about how foreign immigrants are taking their jobs.
